THANK YOU for your purchase! Twice a year, a percentage (%) of our total proceeds will be donated to Racheal's Rest to directly help those in need! We like to help raise awareness and support the month on APRIL which is Child Abuse Prevention Month and the month of OCTOBER which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Racheal's Rest, is a 501c3 nonprofit division of Crossroads Center for Christian Ministries, Inc. They offer private counseling and five-day restorative retreat programs designed to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of survivors. Racheal's Rest is engaged in programs that benefit a broad base of the community. While we welcome "all walks of life", Racheal's Rest is based on biblical principles.
Abuse hurts everyone. It not only hurts the primary victim but the secondary and tertiary as well. The consequences do not end when the abuse does. The effects go on for generations. Meeting the needs of hurting people will not only help them individually but will strengthen their families, give their own children a better start in life, and in turn, will benefit all of society.
Racheal's Rest retreats address the needs of survivors of sexual abuse, PTSD, sex trafficking, domestic violence abuse and other "trauma based" experiences. Through individual and group counseling and recreational therapy, participants regain a sense of balance in their lives and find inner healing. Connection with other survivors of sexual abuse is a vital component of healing and Racheal's Rest retreats provide survivors with a safe, supportive environment in which to start or continue their journey to emotional health.
Racheal's Rest has a vision, when the operating funds are available, they have the potential of helping six to eight people per week, 50 weeks per year. This is a minimum total of 300 people per year. Over a period of 10 years, it could change 3,000 lives and that many families. For the next generation, that is multiplied many times over.
Your gifts are tax deductible and will not only help their general scholarship fund but will help them achieve their goal of building a permanent retreat center. This will allow them to expand their program for children and enhance their program for adults. Please consider JOINING THE FIGHT TO HELP VICTIMS OF ABUSE!
